In a year, if we are just average, we could author 264 books of over 200 pages, just with our words. You can do more than that if you can speak in excess of 300 words per minute, as some of us are able to do, or if you talk incessantly at any speed.

All biblical counseling that is faithful to the Scriptures will recognize the vital role played by the church in the life of a Christian counselee (see Rom. 12; 1 Cor. 12-14; Eph. 4:1-16; 1 Thes. 4:9-10; 5:12-15; Heb. 3:12-14). People entangled in severe sins tend to isolate themselves for a variety of reasons. They are in love with their sin, ashamed of their sin, too proud to let others know, too self-sufficient to let others in, lack a true desire to change, believe they can beat their problems on their own, or don’t want to inconvenience their friends with their long-term problems that defy simple solutions.

INGREDIENTS

1	c	Flowers
1	oz	Gum arabic
1	c	Water
1	tb	Corn syrup
1	c	Sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Dry the flowers. Dissolve gum arabic in 1/2 cup hot water and cool.
Carefully coat the petals with this mixture. Put them on wax paper so they
will not touch and mix the corn syrup and sugar in 1/2 cup water and cook
to a soft ball.  Dip petals into syrup and dry. Sprinkle with finely
granulated sugar.
