We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Let’s get rid of the inhuman philosophy which only allows necessities. Not only does it wrongly deprive us of legitimate enjoyment of God’s generosity, but it cannot be effected without depriving man of all his senses, reducing him to a block.

INGREDIENTS

1/3 c Sugar
1/2 c Bourbon
2 tb Minced fresh mint leaves or 1 teaspoon crumbled dried
4 c Fresh fruit; such as strawberries, peaches, mango, pineapple

INSTRUCTIONS

This may be eaten *only* after a hearty Q'd or grilled meal. Refreshes the
palette, and causes temporary imbalance. Tie up that rope!
In a small saucepan combine the sugar and 2/3 cup water, bring the mixture
to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved, and simmer it for 4
minutes. Let the sugar syrup cool. In a large bowl stir together the sugar
syrup, bourbon, mint leaves, and fruit, and chill, covered, stirring it 2
or 3 times, for 2 hours or overnight. Garnish the fruit with the mint
sprigs.
