We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Oh, what would the damned in hell give for a sermon, could they but listen once more! They would consent, if it were possible, to bear ten thousand years of hell's torments, if they might but once more have the Word presented to them! If I had a congregation such as that would be, of men who have tasted the wrath of God, of men who know what an awful thing it is to fall into the hands of an angry God, how would they lean forward to catch every word.
C.H. Spurgeon

If the Lord wanted to teach us that creation took place in six literal days, how could He have stated it more plainly than Genesis does? The length of the days is defined by periods of day and night that are governed after day four by the sun and moon. The week itself defines the pattern of human labor and rest. The days are marked by the passage of morning and evening. How could these not signify the chronological progression of God's creative work?

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Eggs 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 Head cabbage; about 1 pound

1 sm Onion; finely chopped
1 tb Butter

INSTRUCTIONS

Source: Roberta Brisson
Finely grate cabbage and mix with salt. Let stand for 10 minutes then
squeeze liquid out. Rinse in cold water. In large skillet sauté onion in
butter until golden. Add cabbage and pepper, and sauté until transparent. .
Cook noodles in salted water until done and strain. Rinse in water, and
toss with cabbage and serve. This may be kept warm in the oven.
Sometimes, my mother would substitute ground up left-over ham for the
cabbage to this dish. If you do this omit the salt.
