We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Authentic, biblical Christianity has always been an exclusive religion. This became apparent during the Roman Empire. When the Emperor Alexander Severus heard about Christianity, he placed an image of Christ beside the other gods in his private chapel, just to be safe. The Romans were happy to welcome Jesus into their pantheon. What the Romans couldn’t understand was why Christians refused to reciprocate. If the emperor was willing to worship Christ, why weren’t Christians willing to worship the emperor? Yet the early Christians insisted that in order to worship Christ at all, they had to worship Christ alone. They were even willing to stand up for this conviction by playing “Christians and lions” at the Colosseum.

Do you want to increase your hunger for the Lord? Try weaning yourself from the world's diet- be prepared for some withdrawal symptoms when you turn off the radio and the TV and eliminate unnecessary activities. Then begin feeding on the Word of God. At first, it may seem bland and boring; but in time, you will discover that it satisfies in a far deeper, richer way than those things you once thought were so filling.

MORGANA McCAWBER'S PUDDING SURPRISE
Mix together the spell and slime mixes.
In separate bowl, mix together newt eyes, monkey drool, Koo Koo water. Peel
and chop dragon toes; stir in. Add slug knuckles.
Mix dry and wet ingredients carefully. (Caution: May become agressive if
handled too vigorously.) Pour mixtures into mold pans that have been
treated with spider fat and wolfsbane flour. Bake according to spell mix
directions until brown and a toothpick inserted into set mixture comes out
clean. (Do not overbake as this can become explosive). Cool slightly on
wire racks then turn out.
[Editor adds: I like to prepare this spell using two 8 inch spell molds.
After the two portions have cooled, I like to ice them with Curdled Bat's
Milk Spell Frosting (nice green color). Can be decorated with additional
whole slug knuckles and sliced dragon toes].
Enjoy with a few feathered/furried friends and a large glass of Moo Juice.
Don't forget to get the calculations right or the whole thing may end up
resembling a load of dingo's kidneys!
