We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Believers will not be judged for sin at the judgment seat of Christ. Every sin of every believer was judged at the Cross, when God “made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Cor. 5:21). At the cross “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us” (Gal. 3:13). As our substitute, “He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness” (1 Peter 2:24); “He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God” (Heb. 10:12; cf. Eph. 1:7;4:32; 1 John 2:1-2). Because of His atoning sacrifice on our behalf, “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus… Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us “(Rom. 8:1,34). But though salvation is not by works, works are the inevitable result of true salvation.
John MacArthur

Oh that God would give me the thing which I long for! That before I go hence and am no more seen, I may see a people wholly devoted to God, crucified to the world, and the world crucified to them. A people truly given up to God in body, soul and substance! How cheerfully would I then say, ';Now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace.'
John Wesley

INGREDIENTS

One batch cheesecake crust
2 lb (32 ounces) cream cheese
1 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 ts Lemon juice
4 Eggs
1 9-inch spring form pan plus one jelly-roll pan or roasting pan

INSTRUCTIONS

FILLING
Set a rack at the middle level of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees.
Prepare the dough. Butter
only the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and line it with a round of
parchment. Place the dough in the pan and pat it down evenly and firmly to
cover the bottom. Bake for about 25 minutes, until dough is golden and
baked through. Lower the oven temperature to 325 degrees.
All of the following should be done on your mixer's lowest speed. To make
the filling, beat cream cheese smooth, no more than 30 seconds. Stop mixer
and scrape bowl and beater. Add sugar in a stream, mixing for no more than
30 seconds. Stop and scrape.
Add vanilla, lemon juice and 1 egg; mix only until absorbed, no more than
30 seconds. Stop and scrape. Add remaining eggs, one at a time, mixing only
until each is absorbed. Stop and scrape after each addition.
Wrap aluminum foil around the bottom of the spring form pan so it comes at
least one inch up the sides. Pour the filling into the pan over the crust.
Place the pan in a jelly roll or roasting pan and pour warm water into pan
to a depth of 1/2-inch. Bake the cheesecake for about 60 minutes, or until
lightly colored and firm except for the very center. Remove from pan of hot
water. Remove foil and cool completely on a rack. Wrap cheesecake and chill
overnight before unmolding.
Yield: one 9-inch cheesecake

A Message from our Provider:

“We ought to give thanks for all fortune: if it is good, because it is good, if bad, because it works in us patience, humility and the contempt of this world and the hope of our eternal country. #C.S. Lewis”
