We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Covenants are not merely contracts or promises. Rather, covenants are relationships under authority, with both obligations and rewards. The terms and benefits of the relationship are spelled out, and so are the consequences if the relationship is broken. But what is perhaps most significant about biblical covenants is that when God enters into a covenant, He must condescend to initiate it, He sets the terms, He provides the benefits, and He executes the judgment when the covenant is broken.

INGREDIENTS

2 Bottles (1-1/2 qt) Mauna L'ai guava/passion-fruit drink
2 Bottles (1-1/2 qt) cranberry juice cocktail
2 qt Grapefruit juice
3 Bottles (1-liter) ginger ale (up to)
5 Limes; halved lengthwise and cut into thin slices

INSTRUCTIONS

Here's a good (and easy) nonalcoholic party punch: Nonalcoholic Party
Punch (from Cooking for a Crowd by Susan Wyler). Makes about 3 gallons.
1. In a large punch bowl, blend together juices and ginger ale. Add 2
trays ice cubes and the lime slices.
2. To serve, put 2 or 3 ice cubes in glass or cup and ladle on the punch,
making sure everyone gets a slice of lime.
I made this for a dinner party for 45. The other beverage choice was
water and there seems to be just enough punch for everyone.
