Old-Fashioned Molasses Cookies

INGREDIENTS

3/4 c Oil
1/4 c Brer Rabbit Molasses; (green label)
1 c Sugar
1 Egg
2 c Flour
2 ts Baking Soda
1/2 ts Ginger
1/2 ts Cloves
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mix oil, molasses, egg and sugar.
2. Sift all dry ingredients into above mixture. Blend thoroughly.
3. Chill dough at least 1 hour.
4. Roll into balls (about 1 tsp.) and then roll each ball in granulated
sugar.
5. Bake on greased cookie sheets for about 10 minutes; do not overbake. Use
a 375 degree oven.
