God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

All biblical counseling that is faithful to the Scriptures will recognize the vital role played by the church in the life of a Christian counselee (see Rom. 12; 1 Cor. 12-14; Eph. 4:1-16; 1 Thes. 4:9-10; 5:12-15; Heb. 3:12-14). People entangled in severe sins tend to isolate themselves for a variety of reasons. They are in love with their sin, ashamed of their sin, too proud to let others know, too self-sufficient to let others in, lack a true desire to change, believe they can beat their problems on their own, or don’t want to inconvenience their friends with their long-term problems that defy simple solutions.
Robert Jones

Temptations that have been anticipated, guarded against, and prayed about have little power to harm us. Jesus tells us to “keep watching and praying, that you may not come into temptation” (Mark 14:38). Victory over temptation comes from being constantly prepared for it, which, in turn, comes from constantly relying on the Lord.

Bake for 4 to 5 mins or until loaves balloon up and are very lightly
browned. Remove from oven, place on wax paper. Cover with wax paper or a
towel (loaves will soften from their oven steam as they cool. Cool then
press down to flatten. Store in plastic bags. To serve, slit at the edge &
open to make pocket or cut crosswise in half and pull open to make two
