INGREDIENTS

1/4 c Meringue powder
2 lb Confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 c Vegetable shortening 6 tablespoons water
1 tb Clear flavoring (a tinted flavoring will change color or the icing)

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix at slow speed until smooth. Add a
few drops of water, if needed.
Yield: enough to fill and cover a 2 layer 9-inch cake
