God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

So parents, where are your teenagers with the Lord? I am not asking if they come to church or even profess Jesus. The demons believe in Jesus and thousands of unbelievers will be attending churches all over America this morning. I am asking you where is there heart with the Lord? Do they have an interest to read their Bibles? Are they engaged in a ministry at the church? Are they reading any Christian literature or listening to any Christian music? Are they posting anything about their faith on social media? Have they memorized Scripture lately? Do they enjoy being with other Christian teens? Would they come to church without your prodding? Are they telling any of their friends about the Savior? As Jesus said, the fruit reveals the nature of the tree. Based on the fruit, is Jesus Christ really number one in their lives?

Worship empowers serving; serving expresses worship. Godliness requires a disciplined balance between the two. Those who can maintain service without regular personal and corporate worship are serving in the flesh. It doesn’t matter how long they’ve been serving that way or how well others think they serve, they are not striving according to God’s power, as Paul did, but their own… At the same time, one measure of the authenticity of worship (again, both personal and corporate) is whether it results in a desire to serve… Therefore, we must maintain that to be Godly, we should discipline ourselves for both worship and service. To engage in one without the other is, in reality, to experience neither.

INGREDIENTS

3 ga Water
16 lb Honey
1/4 c Keemun tea
1/4 c Oolong tea
2 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Whole anise seed
18 Clusters
20 Allspice, crushed
1 Inch galingale root,
Crushed
Yeast
Unflavored gelatin (fining)
Cardamom, crushed

INSTRUCTIONS

Boil  water, adding tea and spices. Remove from heat and stir in  honey.
(Some mead makers boil the honey, skimming the scum as it forms).  Cover
boiled water, and set aside to cool (this usually takes a long time,  so
start on the next step).  Make a yeast starter solution by boiling a cup of
water and a tablespoon or two of honey. Add starter to cooled liquid. Cover
and  ferment using blow tube or fermentation lock.  Rack  two  or three
times to get rid of sediment. This recipe took about 6-1/2 months from
brewing to bottling. First rack took place 15 days after brewing. 2nd rack
3 weeks later.  3rd  rack  3 months later. Gelatin added 1 month later.
Bottled about 2--1/2  months later. Yield 3.7 gallons. Sweet, smooth,
potent. A dessert wine. This is perhaps the best of my 20 or more batches
of mead.
