We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

We are… saplings here, but we shall be transported into our heavenly soil to grow in God’s light. Here our abilities are in blossom; there they shall burst forth with fruits of greater beauty. Our death is but the passing from one degree of loving service to another; the difference is like that of the unborn child and the one who has entered into the experiences of a new life. Our love for God will continue, but awakened with new purity and purposefulness.
Erwin Lutzer

What is the response of homosexuals and lesbians to anyone who says that homosexuality is a sin? They simply say this person is filled with hate; he or she is a homophobe; he or she hates homosexuals. Someone said this is like the Surgeon General’s putting this warning on each package of cigarettes: “Warning: Smoking may be dangerous to your health.” What did this prove? It proved only that the Surgeon General was a smokophobe and that he hated everyone who smoked cigarettes (James Kennedy and Jerry Newcombe).

These pastries are very popular in Scandinavia. This recipe comes from the
Danish version of Brita Olsson's Kagebogen.
Grate marzipan. Beat egg white and mix into marzipan. Place teaspoonfuls
of dough onto baking sheets that have either been well greased or covered
with a sheet of parchment paper. Dust hands with flour and press cookies
flat. Bake 12-14 min. at 150 deg. C (300 deg. F). Remove cookies from pan
while still warm, and allow to cool with bottom sides up.
Melt 150 g chocolate in a double boiler. Scald cream and butter; pour into
melted chocolate while beating constantly. Allow filling to cool and
thicken. Spread filling on top of macaroons, then chill in refrigerator for
at least one hour.
Melt 200 g chocolate in a double boiler; stir in oil. Quickly dip cold
cookies in chocolate glaze, in order to cover the truffle filling. If
desired, top with a whole hazelnut. Yields about 15.
