INGREDIENTS

13 oz Jonathan or McIntosh apples
1/4 c Water
1/8 ts Combined cloves, allspice, cinnamon, and nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS

Wash the apples and cut into quarters but do not peel. Remove the cores and
cut the quarters into chunks. Place in a saucepan with 1/4 cup water and
cook as for Chunky Applesauce. When the apples are tender, force through a
sieve or the fine disc of a food mill. Season with the spices and eat hot,
warm, or at room temperature.
