INSTRUCTIONS
Simmer peaches for 30-45 minutes with water, brown sugar, whole cloves,
cinnamon & vinegar. Strain cloves & cinnamon out. Add gelatin to liquid &
peaches. Pour half the mixture into a 9x13-inch pan. Chill until firm. Mix
softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, milk & nuts. Spread cheese mixture to
form a middle layer. Pour remaining gelatin over this. Chill again until
firm. This takes time & seems to be a lot of trouble, but the salad is well
worth it all. Really delicious & different.
