INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 c Whole wheat flour
1/2 c All-purpose white flour
1/4 c Chickpea flour; (gram flour optional)
2 ts Vegetable oil; heated
2 ts Cumin seeds
2 tb Red chili powder; (to taste)
2 tb Salt
4 tb Sesame seeds
1 pn Sugar
1 ts Tumeric
1 1/2 c Water
Vegetable oil for deep-fat frying

INSTRUCTIONS

Spicy poories are a delicious addition to a picnic and are good to have on
hand for snacks.
Mix all the ingredients and form them into a dough. Roll and cook as for
plain poories.
