CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Dairy Pizza, Appetizers 6 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 cn (10 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
7 Pieces string cheese
1/2 c Pizza sauce
20 sl Pepperoni
1 c Mozzarella cheese; shredded

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Grease 13x9 inch pan. Unroll dough and press
in bottom and 1 inch up sides of greased pan. Place pieces of string cheese
along the inside edges of dough. Fold the 1 inch of dough over and around
the cheese; press dough edges to seal. Top the crust with sauce, pepperoni
and cheese.
2. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes or until crust is golden brown
and cheese is melted. Makes 6 servings. Typed by Lynn Thomas. Source:
Pillsbury. Lynn's notes: I made this 1-11-97. It was easy to do and
delicious. Next time I'll sprinkle some herbs on the edges of the crust to
add more flavor to the dough. This hint comes from Terri Irwin: Wrap sticks
of cheddar cheese in pepperoni and form the crust edges around it. I tried
it and it was delicious!
