We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Living is death; dying is life. On this side of the grave we are exiles, on that, citizens; on this side, orphans, on that, children; on this side, captives; on that, freemen; on this side, disguised, unknown; on that, disclosed and proclaimed as the sons of God.
Henry Ward Beecher

God declares to us that Jesus Christ, who once had His side pierced, today has His heart open, as it were, that we may have assurance of the love that He bears us; that as He once had His arms fastened to the cross, now He has them wide open to draw us to Himself; and that as once He shed his blood, so today He wishes us to be plunged within it. So, when God invites us so sweetly and Jesus Christ sets before us the fruit of His death and passion...let us all come to take our stand with our Lord Jesus Christ.
John Calvin

INSTRUCTIONS

This is a 10-gallon recipe; cut ingredients in half for 5 gallons. Steep
grains in a mesh bag until water reaches boiling. Remove grains. Follow
standard extract brewing process, adding extract and Cascade hops. I
boiled the wort in an 8-gallon pot and added 4 gallons of cold water.
Pitch yeast at about 80 degrees. I fermented this in a 20-gallon open
container for 4 days, then racked to glass carboys for 24 days. This is a
pale ale recipe I used for my class. I used M&F pale extract and grains
were for demonstration more than flavor. I suggest doubling grain
quantities if you want to get something out of them. Original Gravity:
