Your shrinking from this truth about hell is not due to your sympathy with people’s pain. It is due to your lack of sympathy with their pain. God is the one who is sympathetic. He is the one who gave His only begotten Son to rescue us from this misery and to inform us insistently, dogmatically, and compassionately that we are in for an awful end if we persist in unbelief. Don’t say that you feel for people when you blunt the edge of the word of the Spirit. What have you ever done that shows that you truly feel for sinners’ eternal pain? Denying the truth of God’s Word about it certainly offers them no help whatsoever.

You must remember we are all creatures of imitation: precept may teach us, but it is example that draws us. There is that in us all, that we are always disposed to catch the ways of those with whom we live; and the more we like them, the stronger does the disposition grow. Without our being aware of it, they influence our tastes and opinions; we gradually give up what they dislike, and take up what they like, in order to become closer friends with them.     Grains Appetizers 16 Servings

    INGREDIENTS

    3 c Tomato juice (heat)
    3 pk Lemon gelatin
    1/2 c Vinegar
    1 c Finely chopped celery
    1 tb Worcestershire sauce
    1 ds Tabasco sauce
    Salt and pepper
    Mix above and let cool
    Add:
    1 Finely chopped onion
    1 Finely chopped green pepper
    1 Finely chopped amount of celery equal to green pepper
    1 cn Tiny Monarch or Richeliue string beans

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Pour into molds.  Makes 16 molds.
