We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Any fool can write learned language. The vernacular is the real test. If you can't turn your faith into it, then you either don't understand it or you don't believe it.
C.S. Lewis

All theology is also spirituality, in the sense that it has an influence, good or bad, positive or negative, on its recipients’ relationship or lack of relationship with God. If our theology does not quicken the conscience and soften the heart, it actually hardens both; if it does not encourage the commitment of faith, it reinforces the detachment of unbelief; if it fails to promote humility, it inevitably feeds pride.

One of my friends is Welsh, and here is her grandmothers recipe.
Mix dry ingredients together. Add butter and mix until "corn meal" like.
Add eggs and beat. Add currents.
Roll dough out to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into 2 inch circles. Lightly
grease a frying pan. Cook approximately 2 min. or each side. They should
be light brown but moist on the sides. Serve warm.
