We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Every dad begins fatherhood clothed in garments of praise [Proverbs 17:6]. It usually happens naturally and effortlessly. He possesses an authority that is both inexplicable and awesome. For this reason, few things are more important to a boy – or a man – than a touch, or a smile, or a word of encouragement from Dad.
Robert Lewis

It is absurd to think that anything in us could have the least influence upon our election. Some say that God did foresee that such persons would believe, and therefore did choose them; so they would make the business of salvation to depend upon something in us. Whereas God does not choose us FOR faith, but TO faith. “He hath chosen us, that we should be holy,” (Ephesians 1:4), not because we would be holy, but that we might be holy. We are elected to holiness, not for it.

INGREDIENTS

4 c Flour
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
2 tb Olive oil or other vegetable oil
Water

INSTRUCTIONS

Put flour into a bowl. Make a hole in the center and put in the baking
powder, salt and oil. Add a tablespoon or two of water and stir vigorously.
If the dough won't stick together add more water, by tablespoons. You don't
want the dough to become a batter.
Divide the dough into balls about as big as a tangerine. Roll or pat (or
use a tortilla press). If you haven't got an electric press you'll need to
put each tortilla on a hot grill just until lightly toasted on each side.
Cover with a cloth or slip into a heavy duty plastic bag to keep.
