INSTRUCTIONS
Mix well and pour into small baby food jars, each jar about 1/2 full. The
jars are then inserted into ice/rock salt filled one pound coffee cans.
Snap the lids on and let the boys roll the cans for about 15-20 minutes.
Keep checking the ice/rock salt mixture and fill the cans as needed. It's
rather noisy. We had them roll the cans on the dining room table (covered
with heavy towels to protect the table top and muffle some of the sound).
They brought their winter gloves to protect their hands because the cans
get very cold.
This makes a vanilla ice cream. Add a teaspoon of Nestle's Quik to make
chocolate ice cream.
