We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

There is no special honor in preaching, there is only special pain. The pulpit calls those anointed to it as the sea calls its sailors. And like the sea, it batters and bruises and does not rest. To preach, to really preach is to die naked a little at a time and to know each time you do it that you must do it again.
Bruce Thielemann

I am afraid there are Calvinists, who, while they account it a proof of their humility that they are willing in words to debase the creature, and to give all the glory of salvation to the Lord, yet know not what manner of spirit they are of. Whatever it be that makes us trust in ourselves that we are comparatively wise or good, so as to treat those with contempt who do not subscribe to our doctrines, or follow our party, is a proof and fruit of a self-righteous spirit. Self-righteousness can feed upon doctrines, as well as upon good works; and a man may have the heart of a Pharisee, while his head is stored with orthodox notions of the unworthiness of the creature and the riches of free grace.

Aushak is an Afghani and Persian dish consisting of ravioli filled with
leeks, etc. with a meat tomato sauce *and* a yogurt sauce. It is
excellent! Here is a recipe for the yogurt sauce that goes with Aushak,
which may help you a bit in figuring out the yogurt sauce you had.
Melt the butter over low heat in a small saute pan or skillet. Add the
garlic and cook 1 to 2 minutes without coloring. Cool for a few minutes
and then add the yogurt. Stir in the chopped mint and season to taste with
salt and pepper.
