We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

It is a serious (and all too common) thing for stubborn, self-willed people in church congregations to rob their pastors of the joy God intends faithful pastors to have. Failure to properly submit brings grief rather than joy to pastors, and consequently brings grief and displeasure to God, who sends them to minister over us. Grief (stenazontes) means an inner, unexpected groaning. It is a grief often known only to the pastor, his family, and to God. Because lack of submission is an expression of selfishness and self-will, unruly congregations are not likely to be aware of, or care about, the sorrow they cause their pastor and other leaders (Heb. 13:17).
John MacArthur

I need not despair because the living God is my partner. I do not have sufficient wisdom to meet these difficulties, but He is able to direct me. I can pour out my heart to God and ask Him to guide and direct me and to supply me with wisdom. Then I have to believe that He will do so. I can go with good courage to my business and expect help from Him in the next difficulty that may come before me.

3 oz Chopped herbs; (dill, parsley, etc)
3 Eggs

Cooking time: 40 minutes.
FROM: JEWISH COOKING FOR PLEASURE..........Molly Lyons Bar-David.
Put half the oil into a baking pan and keep it hot while you proceed. Dip
the matzos in water and line the bottom of the dish with three of the
matzos to make a sort of crust container. Put in the meat and top with the
chopped onion and herbs, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover with
remaining dipped matzos. Beat the eggs and pour over. Put into a moderately
hot oven (400F or Gas Mark 6) and after 10 minutes add the remaining hot
oil Bake after 10 minutes more. Pour off the oil at once. Cut into serving
pieces. Very good hot or cold. This old Passover dish may have been
inspired by Leviticus 2:4 "a meat offering baken in the oven, it shall be
unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil...."
