Peanut Brittle

INGREDIENTS

1 c Sugar
1 c Spanish peanuts
1 1/2 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Light corn syrup
1 tb Margarine
1 1/2 ts Baking soda

INSTRUCTIONS

In a microwaveable big bowl combine sugar and syrup. Microwave for 5
minutes on high (100%). Stir in peanuts. Microwave 2 to 5 minutes. Stiring
every 2 minutes or until peanuts and syrup are light brown. Stir in
margarine, vanilla and soda until light and foamy. Spread to 1/4 inch
thickness on a large well buttered cookie sheet. Allow to completely cool.
