Peanut Butter Cookies

INGREDIENTS

1 c Butter or margarine
1 c Peanut butter
1 c Granulated sugar
1 c Brown Sugar; firmly packed
2 Eggs
1 ts Vanilla
2 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1 1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Thoroughly cream butter, peanut butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Sift
together dry ingredients; blend into creamed mixture.
Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in granulated sugar. Place 2 inches apart on
ungreased cookie sheet. Press 5 peanut halves atop each or crisscross with
fork tines.
Bake at 375F for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool slightly; remove from pan.
Makes 8 dozen.
