Distinguish grace from mercy: Grace-God’s solution to man’s sin. Mercy-God’s solution to man’s misery. Grace-Covers the sin. Mercy-Removes the pain. Grace-Gives us what we do not deserve. Mercy-Does not give us what we do deserve Grace-Unearned favor which saves us. Mercy-Undeserved favor which forgives us. Grace-Deals with the cause of sin. Mercy-Deals with the symptoms of sin. Grace-Offers pardon for the crime. Mercy-Offers relief from the punishment. Grace-Cures or heals the “disease.” Mercy-Eliminates the pain of the “disease.” Grace-Regarding salvation it says, “Heaven.” Mercy-Regarding salvation it says, “No Hell.” Grace-Says, “I pardon you.” Mercy-Says, “I pity you”

Interior decorators tell us that the items on a coffee table reveal the personality of the family. With this thought in mind, in our home my wife and I have open Bibles on our coffee tables in the living and family rooms so that all visitors will know that the Word of God shapes the personality of our home. Remembering that children become readers by picking up books around the house and seeing their parents reading, we also keep Christian books we are reading next to the Bible on the coffee table.

Peking Salmon

INGREDIENTS

4		Salmon steaks or 1 filet; (whole or cut into portions)
1/4	c	Brown or hot or spicy mustard
2	tb	Soy sauce
2	tb	Orange juice

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix the 3 sauce ingredients together and spoon over the salmon. You may
refrigerate for 3-4 hours or you may cook right away.
Broil for 10-15 minutes or bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. VOILA!
This is my family's all time favorite. DELISH!
