We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

With such adversaries, growing in the fear of the Lord will not be a smooth process. Instead, it will be the path of warfare. We must hate the evil and ungodly assumptions of the world, we must hate our own sinful nature, and we must hate Satan. To accomplish these tasks demands the most powerful resources we have: The Word, the Spirit, and the body of Christ.
Edward Welch

The Father imposed His wrath due unto, and the Son underwent punishment for, either: 1. All the sins of all men. 2. All the sins of some men. 3. Some of the sins of some men. In which case it may be said: a. That if the last be true, all men have some sins to answer for, and so none are saved. b. That if the second be true, then Christ, in their stead suffered for all the sins of all the elect in the whole world, and this is the truth. c. But if the first be the case, why are not all men free from the punishment due unto their sins? You answer, Because of unbelief. I ask, Is this unbelief a sin, or is it not? If it be, then Christ suffered the punishment due unto it, or He did not. If He did, why must that hinder them more than their other sins for which He died? If He did not, He did not die for all their sins!

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 lb Fresh salmon
Enough water to cover
A good fistful of kitchen salt

INSTRUCTIONS

In a saucepan, bring water and salt to the boil (this amount of salt seals
in the flavour but doesn't
taste the fish!). Put in pieces of salmon and cook with the lid off at a
gentle simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat. Put a tight fitting lid on the saucepan and let the fish
finish cooking until the
water is fairly warm but not hot. Lift out the fish and serve warm with any
sauce you fancy. If you
want to serve cold salmon, cook the same way and then leave in the water
until ready to serve.

A Message from our Provider:

“Our hopelessness and our helplessness are no barrier to (God’s) work. Indeed our utter incapacity is often the prop He delights to use for His next act… We are facing one of the principles of Yahweh’s modus operandi. When His people are without strength, without resources, without hope, without human gimmicks – then He loves to stretch forth His hand from heaven. Once we see where God often begins we will understand how we may be encouraged. #Ralph Davis”
