This God, who is King, is worthy to be known and to be proclaimed for who He is. The missionary who proclaims this God cannot fail. If his message extols the sovereign God, it will be significant even supposing it is never the means of winning one soul. The message will not be lost. It cannot be lost. It will remain as something precious. Before men and angels – yes, and before the demons of hell – it will be praise to God! “For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish” (2 Corinthians 2:15).

Basic French Dressing (Vinaigrette)

INGREDIENTS

3 tb Olive oil; (extra virgin or a
; mixture of virgin
; and light olive oil
; or a light seed oil
; if you prefer a
; milder flavour)
1 tb White vinegar
1 sm Clove garlic; smashed

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all the ingredients in a screw-top jar or dressing bottle and
shake well together to mix thoroughly. Leave to stand for a few hours
or overnight for the garlic flavour to develop. The oil will separate
and float to the top after standing, so shake to combine before
using. Top with more oil and vinegar as necessary, but always make
sure that there is sufficient vinegar to cover the garlic in the
bottom of the bottle.
