INSTRUCTIONS
Soak the prunes in wine and brandy for at least 8 hours, or up to a
month, refrigerated in an air-tight glass container.
Drain prunes well on a wire rack resting over a tray. Line another
tray with baking paper. Melt chocolate and butter in a basin resting
over a saucepan of hot water, then remove from the heat.
Using a skewer, impale a prune then dip it into the chocolate and
allow any excess to drip off. Slip each dipped prune on to the
paper-lined tray. Allow to set in a cool place.
