We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Along with everybody on the face of the earth, you are constantly sinful. These thousands of sinful thoughts, words, and actions cause the perfectly holy God to judge you as deserving of hell. But Christ’s death in the place of sinful people, as a true substitute, provides the way of escape. God pardons the one who comes to Him because Jesus took the punishment in his place. In simple terms we may say that the just penalty for sins either falls on you or Christ.

INGREDIENTS

1 lg Eggplant; peeled and cut into french fries
1 Egg
1/2 c Cracker crumbs; bread crumbs, or matzo
1/2 c Flour
Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

My dad makes this all the time. It is a good way to get the kids to eat it.
Beat egg well. Mix flour, salt and pepper. Dredge "fries" in flour, then
dip in egg, then roll in crumbs. Set on waxed paper and refrigerate for at
least 15 minutes to "set" coating. Heat oil in heavy fry pan until very
hot. Fry the eggplant slices golden brown. Serve hot as they will "wilt".
