INGREDIENTS

24 Pieces dried fruit; cut in half, (apricots, peaches, pears or prunes)
3 oz Cream cheese; softened
3 tb Sour cream or plain yogurt
1/4 c Chopped slivered almonds
1/8 ts Paprika
1/3 c Shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/3 c Shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

Dried fruits should be pliable. If too hard, allow to stand in boiling
water 5 mins to soften. Drain. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese until
fluffy. Stir in sour cream, paprika, Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese and
chopped almonds. Spoon 1 t. filling into pit cavity of each piece of dried
fruit. Garnish with parsley. Makes 24 appetizers.
