We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The devil may be fawning and wily to break one's commitment to God, or he may be hostile and deadly. He appeals to the innate selfishness of humans to get us to disobey God: “You desire things, you deserve them, and you will get them.” The word that we can gain anything we want in life – wealth, health, the perfect mate, business success, respect from others – is irresistible to those who are obsessed with themselves. The devil can quote Scripture and tell lies about God so that evil masquerades as something good. He can get persons to believe that their personal interests are indistinguishable from God's interests. When we do not get what we want, the devil uses a snake-headed bitterness that rears up from the caverns of the heart to destroy others and ourselves. Satan also tries to lead us to mistrust God and so to put God to the test.

“Father” is the most significant name of the God of the Bible. It is the name that sets Christianity apart from all the other religions of the world. Other religions invite us to worship their gods, allahs, creators, or metaphysical forces, but Christianity invites us to believe in a Son and to enter into an intimate family relationship with a loving Father. Jesus, the Son of God, came so that we could meet His Father, be adopted into the family of God, and relate to the almighty God of the universe in an intimate, personal, concrete way as sons and daughters (2 Cor. 6:16, 18).

this collection.
In a large 12- to 14-inch saute pan heat the olive oil and saute the onion
and tomatoes over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes, until softened, but not
browned. Add red pepper flakes, sugar, salt and wine, bring to a boil and
simmer for 20 to 25 minutes until the mixture becomes porridge-like. Set
aside. Form the goat cheese into 4 balls. Roll each ball sequentially in
the chopped parsley and then the black pepper, pressing lightly so first
the parsley and then black pepper adhere nicely. Set aside. In the center
of 4 plates, place one quarter of the green tomato marmalade. Set a goat
cheese truffle on top. Spoon some of the Tapenade over each truffle,
sprinkle rim of plate the paprika and serve. This recipe yields 4 servings.
