We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Man’s “solutions” to your difficulties will ultimately fail because they do not deal with the source of your problems: your heart.  God’s solutions, as revealed in Scripture, go to the heart of the matter where permanent change is accomplished.
John Broger

1. The altar call too easily confuses the physical act of “coming forward” (walking an aisle) with the spiritual act of “coming to Christ” (repentance and belief). 2. This confusion deceives people about their spiritual state. 3. This confusion often obscures the requirements of repentance and belief. 4. This confusion encourages people to base their assurance on a one-time event. 5. This confusion brings false converts with false assurance into the church’s membership. 6. The altar call makes conversion look like a work of man, when in fact it is a work of God. 7. The altar call confuses people regarding sacred space [that the front of the church is more sacred than any other place]. 8. The altar call confuses “coming forward” with baptism. 9. The altar call distracts Christians from the main point of the service.

TO DECORATE
ALSO YOU WILL REQUIRE
Cream the butter and sugar together well and then beat in the egg and
essence. Add the flour and Bournvita, and bind the biscuit dough together.
Knead on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Roll out, not too thinly
and cut out the biscuits, re-rolling the scraps in between. Place on the
lightly floured baking tray and bake at Gas Mark 5 / 190°C / 375°F for
12-15 minutes, until lightly browned and cooked. Leave to cool before
removing from the tray.
Melt the chocolate with the oil to make chocolate icing. Carefully dip one
end of each biscuit into the chocolate icing and then fill the piping bag
with the remainder. Sprinkle on crumbs of Flake for 'hair'. Rub the Buttons
a little so they shine and then stick them on with the icing as
'cauliflower ears'. Pipe a variety of faces as illustrated, using simple
lines. Leave to set.
Triangular coloured paper hats may be popped over the 'hair', with the
names written on them for each guest.

NOTES : These cheeky-faced biscuits go down well with small boys, who like
to choose the naughtiest! Makes about 20.
