1	pk	Frozen cookie dough; thawed
1	pk	Cream cheese; (8oz)
1/2	c	Powder sugar
2	c	Sliced strawberries
2	c	Crushed strawberries
1/3	c	Cornstarch
1	c	Sugar
		Whipped cream

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Press dough into bottom of spring form pan. Bake until golden.
2. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar, spread on cookie. Arrange 2 cups
sliced berries on top.
3. Cook crushed berries with sugar and cornstarch until thickened.
4. Cool and then pour over berries. Garnish with whipped cream.

The flesh can do these things but it is absolutely nauseating in the eyes of God. It is merely religious activity. There is nothing wrong with what is being done, but what is terribly wrong is the power being relied upon to do it (Ray Stedman).

In contrast [to the Old Covenant], the New Covenant has a spiritual means of entrance: one must believe and be saved (Acts 16:31). Therefore, one’s spiritual life is closely connected to the sign of baptism. If baptism indicates an entrance into the New Covenant, then only those devoted to God and trusting in Jesus should be baptized. True circumcision, as Paul preaches in Romans 2:29, is that of the heart, and it is accomplished by the Spirit. In other words, a person today enters a covenant relationship with God not based on a physical act but on the Spirit’s work in the heart.
