God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Impressions, hunches, intuition, signs, and new revelation become the focus of the Christian instead of moment-by-moment dependence upon Scripture. Soon, even the lines of Christian fellowship are determined by “common experiences” rather than biblical truth. It is a fine line, but what a great deception. Again, Satan is willing to give ground, to gain a greater advantage.
John Napier

It is for us, in whom the Christian Church is at this moment partially embodied, to declare that Christianity, that the Christian faith can do that for the world which the world needs. You say, “What can I do?” You can furnish one Christian life. You can furnish a life so faithful to every duty, so ready for every service, so determined not to commit every sin, that the great Christian Church shall be the stronger for your living in it, and the problem of the world be answered, and a certain great peace come into this poor, perplexed phase of our humanity as it sees that new revelation of what Christianity is.

NOTES : Hungarian Hot Peppers (Banana) are one of the most popular of the
chili pepper family and are available all year round. The degree of hotness
varies with the climate and soil where they are grown. Great for spicing up
chili, soups, stews, stir-fries and as a topping on pizzas. But how about
stuffed with seasoned meat or mozzarella string cheese? It's exciting!
