God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Most other religions are based on their teachings. Christianity is based on the death of Christ and the Resurrection that attests its efficacy. The idea of the Resurrection was scorned by most people, as the response of the philosophical Athenians to Paul indicates: “When they heard about the resurrection of the dead, some of them sneered” (Acts 17:32). But Christianity has stood the test of time. This is significant because Christianity is the only religion that stands or falls on the truthfulness of an event. Its survival is evidence that its unique basis, the Resurrection, is indeed valid.

How do you win a battle? You read the enemy’s book. Familiarity with his tactics, knowledge of his ways, is essential in waging a successful war. It’s true in military warfare. It’s true in spiritual warfare as well. Patton gained an immeasurable advantage by learning in advance of being attacked where, in all likelihood, Rommel would concentrate his strike. He studied Rommel’s personality, his strategy in previous battles, his philosophy of tank warfare, all with a view to anticipating and countering every conceivable move. Satan doesn’t have a book. But he’s in ours.

Freezing tofu changes it utterly. It can be defrosted slowly at room
temperature or covered with boiling water for a quick thaw. The whey, which
crystallizes into ice when the tofu is frozen, melts away during the
defrosting process, leaving a spongy matrix of solid tofu. Defrosted tofu
has a chewy, meatlike texture that absorbs marinades and flavorings easily
and is great for dishes like chili and tacos. Try it on the grill, after
soaking it in your favorite marinade.
One-half cup (4 Ounces) of extra-firm tofu contains the following: 86
calories, 9 g. fat (0 saturated), 3 g. carbohydrates, 154 mg. Calcium, 2
mg. Iron, 8 mg. Sodium, 50 mg. Potassium
(The nutritional content of tofu will vary slightly depending on what
Strain of soybean was used and what method was used to process it.)
