We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

If one is filled with revulsion at the thought that such vengeance is ascribed to a Savior whose love and tenderness are beyond all imagination and description, might not the solution be that these very attributes make hating and rejecting such a Savior worthy of supreme retribution?
William Hendriksen

Man’s happiness was never meant to be determined by his circumstances, and that is the fatal blunder that we all tend to make… Man’s happiness depends on one thing only – and that is his relationship to God!... We cannot get it anywhere else. We must come back to the soul and to God who made it. We were made for Him, we are meant for Him, we have a correspondence with Him, and we will never come to rest until, like that needle on the compass, we strike that northern point, and there we come to rest – nowhere else.

INGREDIENTS

1 Garlic clove, crushed
1/2 c Olive oil
1/4 c Lime juice
1/4 c Dill weed
1 c Raw brown rice, cooked and
cooled
1/3 c Chopped scallions
1 Cucumber, peeled and very
coarsly chopped
1/3 c Fresh parsley sprigs, packed
1/2 lb Feta cheese, crumbled
Fresh-ground pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

This is a recipe I found on Mimi's Cyberkitchen page. I made it for
Christmas dinner on Thursday. It is really, really good -- it also
tastes just as good the next day (if there's any left). The only
change I made was to use slivers of red onion because I didn't have
any scallions. The feta cheese is essential, I think. 1.Mix all the
ingredients for the vinaigrette and reserve. 2.Combine all the
ingredients for the salad. 3.Add the vinaigrette and mix thoroughly.
The vinaigrette can be added well in advance of serving. Yield: 6
