INGREDIENTS
1/4 | c | Margarine or butter |
1/2 | c | Peanut butter |
1 | c | Sugar |
1 | Egg -or- | |
1/4 | c | Eggbeaters |
1 1/4 | c | All-purpose flour |
1 | t | Baking soda |
1 | t | Salt |
1/2 | t | Ground cinnamon |
1/4 | t | Ground nutmeg |
1/4 | t | Ground cloves |
1 | c | Canned applesauce |
INSTRUCTIONS
Cream together margarine, peanut butter, and sugar. add egg, beat well. combine dry ingredients together. Add alternately with applesauce to creamed mixture. Pour into greased waxpaper-lined 8 x 8 x 2 inch cakepan. Bake at 350 degs for 40 minutes or until done. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan to rack. Cut into squares. 9 squares.
