1/2 | c | Brown sugar, firmly packed |
3 | T | Cornstarch |
1 1/2 | c | Water |
1 | T | Margarine |
1/2 | c | Raisins |
1/2 | c | American sauterne, or other |
dry white wine |
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350~. Place ham in a shallow baking pan. Set aside. Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Stir in water and margarine. Place over med-high heat and cook, stirring constantly, 5 mins. Remove pan from heat and stir in raisins and wine. Pour the mixture over ham. Bake uncovered 45 mins. or until tender. Per serving - 291 cal, 24 g pro, 31 g carbo, 60 mg chol, 1391 mg sod, 8 g tot fat (2 g sat, 1 g poly, 4 g mono) Note - one serving of this dish provides most of the recommended daily amt. of sodium.
