We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

And what is the prescribed response? Is it to walk down an aisle? Is it to fill out a card, or to lift up a hand? Is it to make an appointment with a preacher, or to decide to be baptized and join the church? While any of those things may be involved, none of them necessarily is. The response of the Good News – the message that Paul preached and other Christians preached throughout the New Testament – is to repent and believe. Once we’ve heard the truth about our own sin and God’s holiness, about His love in sending Christ, and about Christ’s death and resurrection for our justification, then, as instructed by the first words of Jesus recorded in Mark’s gospel, our response is to “Repent and believe the good news!” (1:15).

The most important thing to remember as we talk about sexual purity is this: God is for you! God wants you to win. People often view God as their adversary when it comes to sex: “He’s against me. He’s hates sex. I’m repulsive to Him. He’s ashamed of me for what I’ve done. And to be perfectly honest, I can’t blame Him much.” Misconceptions such as this only serve to convince us that our situation is hopeless and drive us farther away from the arms of Him whose love and support and affirmation are the only thing that will enable us to win this war with the flesh.

INSTRUCTIONS

Really, he swore he wouldn't have known if I hadn't told him. Mash it
all together and form into 1 inch balls. Spray baking sheet with non
stick spray and arrange balls so they are not touching. Bake at 375
degrees until browned and crusted (about 20 minutes). Toss with
marinara sauce and serve over pasta. I make these in large batches now
and freeze them (pre-cooked). It makes a very quick dinner to thaw and
heat them in the sauce while the pasta cooks, or microwave and serve
on hoagie roll with sauted onions and tomato sauce as a meatball sub.
