INGREDIENTS

1/4 | c | Sugar |
4 | t | Cornstarch |
1 | lb | Can tart red cherries |
Pitted | ||
1 | T | Butter or margarine |
1 | T | Sugar |
1/4 | c | Milk |
INSTRUCTIONS
Put juice from cherries and 1/4 cup sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Cook until thickened. Add cherries and butter. Pour mixture into shallow 1 quart casserole. Blend Mix and 1 Tablespoon sugar. Add milk to form a soft dough. Drop by spoonfuls onto the heated fruit mixture. Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a 425 F. oven. Serve warm with topping or whipped cream.
