INGREDIENTS
1 | 6-7 pound turkey breast | |
1 | c | Orange juice |
1/4 | c | Lime juice |
1/4 | c | Olive oil |
3 | T | Apple cider vinegar |
2 | t | Salt |
1 | t | Pepper |
2 | t | Dried oregano |
INSTRUCTIONS
Remove and discard skin and breast bone from turkey. Place breast in a jumbo heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag. Combine orange juice and next 6 ingredients in a jar; cover tightly, and shake vigorously. Set 1/2 cup marinade aside; pour remainder over turkey. Seal and chill 8 hours, turning occasionally. Remove turkey from marinade, discarding marinade. Grill turkey, covered with grill lid, over high heat (400ø-500ø) 18 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer inserted into thickest portion registers 170ø, brushing occasionally with reserved 1/2 cup marinade. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Yield: 8 servings. Note: To bake turkey, place on rack in a roasting pan. Bake at 325øF for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a meat thermometer registers 170ø, brush occasionally wit reserved marinade.
