Grains, Eggs Cookie 24 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 c Walnuts, chopped
1 Dates, chopped
1/2 c Sugar
1 Lemon rind, grated
1 t Vanilla
3 Egg whites

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine nuts, dates, rind and vanilla. Mix in sugar. Beat egg whites
until stiff and fold into nut mixture. Sprinkle a little sugar on a
cookie sheet and drop cookies by teaspoonful onto the sheet. Bake at
350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool.  From a collection of my mother's
