Ddmmom’s Bread And Butter Pickles

INGREDIENTS

3 lb Trimmed cucumbers, 3 qts
Sliced 1 mm
1/2 lb Green peppers, 2 cups
Sliced 1 mm
1 lb Onions, 1 qt sliced 1 mm
Total about 4 qts
3 T Salt, about

INSTRUCTIONS

Sprinkle all with salt. Allow to sit for  1 hour.  Rinse and drain
well. Bring to full boil: 6 cups cider vinegar 6 cups sugar 2 sticks
cinnamon 1 T turmeric  (maybe less) 4 t mustard seed 1 T salt  Add
vegetables to boiling liquid and return to boil.  Cook 1-2  minutes.
Place in pint jars and process 10 minutes at simmer.  Recipe By     :
