Dessert-spiced Nuts

INGREDIENTS

1 c Sugar
1/4 c Evaporated canned milk
2 t Water
1/2 t Cinnamon
1/2 t Vanilla
2 c Walnut halves, 2 to 3

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix together all the ingredients, except the nuts, and bring to boil
on the stove. Boil mixture until it reaches the soft ball stage (5
minutes or so). Take it off the heat and pour in the nuts. Stir to
coat all the nuts. Separate nuts on waxed paper and let them cool.
