Dilled Cucumbers And Onions

INGREDIENTS

Sliced cucumbers
Sliced onions, separated
into rings
1 c Sugar
4 t Salt
2 t Dill weed
1 c White vinegar
1/2 c Water

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine sugar, salt, dill, vinegar and water. Bring to a boil in a
saucepan. Remove from heat and chill thoroughly. Add sliced cucumbers
and onions and cover tightly. Keep refrigerated.  From a collection of
my mother's (Judy Hosey) recipe box which  contained lots of her
