We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

We must learn to trust the power of God’s Word to convince, convert, and change lives (Rom. 1:16; 1 Cor. 1:18; 1 Pet. 1:23)...without the help of our man-made systems… We must be so convinced, or we will be tempted to add things to the preaching of the Word to secure greater commitments… Here is the real question: How powerful is the Word of God? Can it change men from sinners into saints without the use of an altar call? Will it convict and convert (as God promises), or will we need to add something that helps men “settle it”? You will never be able to do without the invitation system until you are thoroughly convinced of the power of God’s Word.

Alas! Much has been done of late to promote the production of dwarfish Christians. Poor, sickly believers turn the church into an hospital, rather than an army. Oh, to have a church built up with the deep godliness of people who know the Lord in their very hearts, and will seek to follow the Lamb wherever he goes!

INGREDIENTS

6 c Rolled oats
2 t Cinnamon
1 t Ground ginger
1/3 c Unrefined sweetner, honey
molassas maple sorgum
etc
3 Egg whites
1 c Dried fruit, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

I like my granola to be kind of chunky, but it's tough to get the
right consistency without oil. Well I think I found the solution: egg
whites. They make the ingredience stick nicely together, but still
bake up crunchy, without too much sugar and no oil. 300? Oven In
large bowl mix oats, cinnamon and ginger. In separate bowl, mix sugar
and egg whites until combined. Add to oats and mix. Loosely pat into
large non- stick cookie sheet at bake at 300? for 30-40 minutes,
stirring after 20 minutes. This mixture tends to get very dark, so
adjust time to your taste. When done, let granola cool before adding
fruit. Store in airtight container. This has about 15% of it's
caleries from fat, do strickly to the oats themselves. If you mix in
rolled wheat, rye, or other rolled grains, it may lighten it up even
more. Serve with non-fat milk or yogurt. Posted to fatfree digest by
