O Christ, my Creator and Redeemer, have
mercy on all who are joined to me by the
ties of blood, or united to me by the intimacy
of holy affections, for whom I am desired to
pray, or have resolved to pray. Deliver
them from all evil, and preserve them in all
good; that, being subject to Thee with their
whole heart, and filled with the spirit of Thy
love, they may be cleansed from earthly de-
sires, and made worthy, by Thy grace, of
heavenly blessedness, for Thy Name’s sake.
