INGREDIENTS

4 lb Beef, chuck blade or round
2 T Bacon drippings
1/4 t Salt
1/4 t Black pepper
2 T Grated lemon rind
2/3 c Diced onion
1 Garlic clove, sliced
1 1/2 c Dairy sour cream
6 oz Cooked noodles -or-
4 Potatoes cooked and cubed

INSTRUCTIONS

from: The wonderful World of Cooking  Brown meat in drippings Add
seasonings, peel, onion and garlic. Pour  sour cream over. Cover.
Simmer(but do not boil ) for 3 1/2 hours,  basting occasionally. Add
noodles or potatoes. Cover. Simmer for 20  minutes. serves 6-8  Posted
