We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

If you do not believe in the unique deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, you are not a Christian, whatever else you may be. We are not looking at a good Man only, we are not interested merely in the greatest Teacher the world has ever seen; we are face to face with the fact that God, the Eternal Son, has been in this world, and that He took upon Him human nature and dwelt among us, a Man amongst men – God-Man. We are face to face with the mystery and the marvel of the Incarnation and of the Virgin Birth. It is all here, and it shines out in all the fullness of its amazing glory. “What manner of Man is this?” He is more than Man. That is the answer – He is also God.
Martyn Lloyd-Jones

Though every other world religion teaches it, and there are many false churches under the guise of Christianity that are willing to accommodate it, the Bible knows nothing about earning God’s favor. The reason is because we can’t. God is so perfectly holy. He simply can’t accept an ounce of sin in His presence. He’s not looking to bestow eternal life on those who think they are righteous as some sort of a reward. He’s looking for those who acknowledge their own rebellion and look to Him to receive His righteousness as a gift by running to Him for complete rescue.

3 Dried New Mexico chiles

1 t Arbol chile powder

INSTRUCTIONS

Tip: Before you slice the goat's cheese into rounds, dip your knife in
warm water; you'll get a clean cut that way. Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Sprinkle garlic cloves with salt and crush with the side of a knife to
form a paste. In a large bowl, combine mushrooms, shallots, garlic,
salt, pepper, and olive oil. Place in a baking dish, and roast for 15
minutes. Meanwhile make the Chile Oil: Combine all ingredients in a
blender. Blend until just combined. Drain through a fine sieve. Chile
Oil may be refrigerated up to 2 weeks in a covered container. (Makes 2
cups) Transfer mushroom mixture to an ovenproof serving dish. Place
goat cheese on top of mushrooms, and return to oven until cheese just
begins to melt, 7 to 8 minutes. Drizzle with Chile Oil. Sprinkle with
additional pepper and thyme. Serve with bread. Serves 4 to 6. Source:
