We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

But do you say, “This is so strange a thing?” What, my brethren! Is it not more strange that a family professing to be Christian, professing to have a firm hope for eternity, should advance toward that eternity without giving any sign of that hope, without any preparation, without any conversation, perhaps, alas! without any thought concerning it? Ah! this is very strange! Do you say, “This is a thing of very little repute or glory, and to which a certain degree of shame is attached?” And who, then, is the greatest: that father who, in former and happier days, was the high priest of God in his own house, and who increased his paternal authority and gave it a divine unction by kneeling down with his children before his Father and the Father of them all; or that worldly man in our days, whose mind is engaged only in vain pursuits, who forgets his eternal destiny and that of his children, and in whose house God is not? O what a shame is this!
Merle D’Aubigne

While revival originates from God, the Holy Spirit has appointed certain means to be used for the advancement of His kingdom. The foremost of these is the preaching of the Word of God accompanied by earnest prayer. Yet, no amount of human endeavor can assure results. The same is true of revival: no measured amount of our activity will guarantee an equivalent blessing, for God's blessing is bestowed according to His good pleasure (Zech. 4:6).

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Meats, Eggs 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 lb Ground beef
3 Bread, torn into small
pieces
1 Egg
1 10 oz Ro-Tel tomatoes with
green chilis
1 Onion, chopped fine
2 t Chili powder
1/4 t Black pepper
1/3 Chili sauce, I used ketchup

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine all ingredients except chili
sauce or ketchup. Blend well. Press into an ungreased loaf pan. Bake,
covered, for 1 hour. Drain drippings from pan. Spoon chili sauce or
ketchup over meat loaf. Bake uncovered an additional 15 minutes. Let
stand about 10 minutes before serving. Personal notes: This meat loaf
is very moist. If you want a firmer loaf, use another slice of bread
in the preparation. This is great with mashed potatoes, and the
leftovers (if any) reheat well in the microwave. Kenny loved the
leftovers on a "meat loaf sandwich" the next day. Posted to EAT-L
